FAQ’s

What is the cut off time for orders?

We try to ship all orders out on the day that they are received, or in accordance with customer scheduled dates. Cut off time is 2pm for those orders where VSWD will arrange the freight. If a customer wants to send his own carrier / forwarder to collect, then the cut off time for collection is 4pm.

How long will I have to wait for my order?

Most products are in stock and the courier services that we use are next day delivery for the UK. Goods sent to Northern Ireland and Europe will take longer depending on the service.

If due to demand product is not available, we will do all we can to have it back in stock as quickly as possible.

How do you ship the orders and how much will it cost?

Whilst it cannot always be guaranteed, all of our shipments are sent out on a next day courier / carrier service. We use a number of partners so that we can offer early deliveries, AM deliveries, Saturday deliveries if needed. There is an additional cost for deliveries outside of the standard next day service.

The cost of shipping is dependent on the size and the weight of the shipment but starts at GBP 5.00.

All products are made in accordance with the approvals required for the UK and the UN markets, following the UN ECE regulations and approvals. As a company that supplies international markets as well, outside of the UK and UN markets, we do have products that carry SAE, ADR and others. Please contact us if you have a specific requirement.

For each of the products that we market from the UK warehouses we have data sheets, copies of which are found using the link. Data sheets are also produced for customer specific projects to ensure reference documents are available.

Can you offer a bespoke tailor-made product? (Click here to see some of our previous projects)

This has been one of the key strengths of the VSWD business. If it is possible and there is a volume behind the enquiry, products can be developed and designed for customers, existing products can be modified to support a customer requirement, products can also be private labelled. This is a big part of the VSWD business.

Do you install products, have an installation service? (Click here to contact us)

We do not install the products or offer an installation service, however we work with a great number of partners in the UK and overseas who do install the products for us. If you have a requirement, please contact us and we will put you in touch with someone who can help.

How do I become a distributor of your products? (Click here to contact us)

We are looking for distribution partners in the UK and beyond as the brand continues to grow and develop. If you are interested in distributing our products, contact the company and a member of the sales team will be in touch.

How do I open an account? (Click here to contact us)

Please contact the company using our enquiry form and an application form can be sent through to you. If approved we can normally have your account up and running in 24-48 hours.

Prices are not publicly available. They are only available on request or from your account manager. If you need some help with prices, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

Can I still buy your product if I am overseas? Can you help with logistics?

We encourage overseas business. We currently have customers in 36 countries and so may have a distribution partner close to you. We are also looking to develop our distribution internationally and so if this is of interest, please do contact us and someone from our export team will be in touch.

We can certainly help with logistics and can ship direct from the warehouses in the UK or from the international factories to help with volume and transit time.

Do you offer pricing in currencies other than GBP?

We currently offer pricing in GBP (£) US Dollar ($) and Euro (€)

Do you have a warranty policy?

All of our products are covered by warranty and the period of time depends on the product group. Details are provided on each product sheet. A copy of our warranty policy and procedure is provided when an account is opened.
